The Manager

Since joining in 2017, Srijit has innovated how people with dementia are looked after at Willett Lodge by introducing the idea of focussing on the individual and looking beyond their journey with Dementia.
Nursing and Dementia Care Homes in Worthing Our Manager
Prior to joining us, Srijit worked for BUPA for 7 years and completed his RMA and Management Training with them. He has worked closely and successfully alongside Adult Services, the Adult Safeguarding Team, Admission Avoidance Matron, Older People’s Mental Health Team and Dementia Crisis Service (now Intensive Support Unit) and some Psychiatrists.
Srijit and the team successfully managed to host a Dementia Crisis Bed at Willett Lodge. He is keen to establish and work in partnership with relatives and friends of the people who we care for. He learns from each family’s interpretation of what care should be.
Srijit continues to draw from these experiences to add to his learning and applies this to continuously evolve and improve on ways of our care.
“Each person gives us the cue and teaches us how we should care for them.”
