My name is Felicia Burghelea and I am the Registered Manager at Willett Lodge Nursing Home. I joined the Smart Care Homes group because I passionately believe in their philosophy – Sincere care, meaningful activities built on relationships and trust, which is always be at the heart of the way we work.
I started at Willett Lodge Care Home in May 2023, having a wealth of knowledge and experience working within the care sector, managing Nursing/Dementia and leading management teams.
After a complete career change from the retail industry, I realised that I love working in care because I always wanted to help others to enjoy their lives to the fullest and lead my team to make a difference in the work we do within the care sector.
I love being outdoors, hiking and taking in the sunshine. Travelling is also a passion as I am keen to learn about different cultures and traditions.
I look forward to meeting you personally – my door is always open, working with you to make sure that we always provide the best care we can for your loved one.
“Each person gives us the cue and teaches us how we should care for them.”
Our residents’ lives are important. Wherever possible, we make sure their lives continue to be meaningful – and that they are important, whilst still maintaining control of their decision-making and lives.
We embrace independence and ensure our residents do too.
Relationships are everything in life and having fruitful ones based on understanding and caring only creates a better life, never more so than for Nursing and Caring home residents. Our residents put their trust in us to keep them safe, well and loved. We embrace the words CARE and HOME, focusing on delivering that every day.
Our staff are valued and hugely appreciated. We embrace diversity and look to support each and every member of our team in every way we can providing the things
they require to deliver caring and a safe and productive environment.
Training is comprehensive and on-going ensuring they have the personal skills and knowledge to be the best they can be.
